Custom Silicone Molds for Candy Shapes
WYD cuts custom silicone molds for candy shapes. The short shows one mold from the plant, about ten seconds. Silicone helps when the piece has to flex out of a curve or logo.

We cut custom silicone molds for candy shapes. If your piece needs a curve, a logo, or a return a rigid cup would lock, a soft cavity is often the cleaner release. The short below is one mold from our plant, about ten seconds, so you can see the cavity. Quote path: custom silicone candy molds.

One mold from the plant

The clip is the tool on camera. Use it to judge shape feel and cavity detail. If that outline is close to your SKU, send a size, a drawing, or a sample and we quote your version - not a stock tray with a sticker.
What we cut for candy shapes
- Your outline from STEP, artwork, or a physical sample
- Cavity count and tray size locked to how you pour or deposit
- Shore and wall thickness matched to the cook you name, not copied from a gummy tray by default
- Soft tray first when you need to see the shape before a harder tool; steel later is a separate quote on the same floor when the geometry stays put
Pectin and gelatin trays stay on gummy molds. Sharing one frame across hard candy and gummy is its own decision.
Why silicone helps on candy shapes

| What you need | What silicone gives you |
|---|---|
| A curve, undercut, or shallow logo a metal cup would trap | The mold flexes so the piece can leave without a knockout or a draft fight. |
| Your brand shape, not a catalog bear | The cavity follows your file or sample. We cut the outline you send. |
| A look at the piece before CapEx on steel | A soft tray can be the first article. If cook and shape stay put, steel is quoted next - it is not free with the soft tool. |
| Fewer stuck pulls on a sticky cook | Release is often cleaner when Shore and edge detail match the syrup. Oil spray is still a line choice, not a substitute for a bad cavity. |
Trade-offs before you pick silicone
Silicone does not pull heat the way aluminum does. If the syrup is hot, name the pour temperature before we lock a grade. That note sits on hard candy molds and pour temp. A plain open cup you already run in metal does not automatically get better by switching to silicone.
Do not copy a gummy Shore onto a sugar cook, and do not size production quantity off a ten-second mold clip alone.
Timing on a current quote
For applicable small-batch soft-mold programs, MOQ starts from 20 pcs per design. That is not a universal MOQ for every HTV, LSR, or industrial tool. Standard/simple 3D modeling can start from USD 50 per design when the file is not ready. Complex sculpting is quoted by scope. It is not a tooling deposit.

FAQ
What does the video show?
A silicone candy mold we made, about ten seconds. It is a factory look at the tool.
Can you cut a mold to our candy shape?
Yes. Send the outline, the cook, and how many cavities you need on the tray.
Why silicone instead of metal for candy?
When the piece has to flex out of a curve or a shallow logo. Metal pulls heat faster and needs a release path the metal can open.
Is this the same as a gummy tray?
Not unless the cook, the Shore, and the tray outline are the same job. Name which candy you pour.
How do we get a price?
On the candy molds page after the shape and pour temperature are named, or send the file to contact.
Ready to order custom silicone molds?
Send your drawing, sample or project requirements for DFM and quotation.
