WYD manufactures custom silicone components and finished products for baby-feeding, care and sensory applications. Projects can start from an existing 3D file, product sample, drawing or concept that still needs engineering development.
Depending on the design, manufacturing may use HCR/HTV compression molding, LSR injection molding, overmolding or another validated process.
Material Selection Depends on the Product
A silicone spoon, teether, wearable sensory part and non-food-contact protective component do not automatically require the same material or documentation.
For each project we review:

- skin contact
- Shore hardness
- tear and pull requirements
- color
- cleaning/sterilization method
- destination market
- requested test standards
Documentation is confirmed for the selected compound and finished-product requirement.

Suitable for many molded feeding, grip, cover and accessory parts.
LSR Injection Molding
Considered for geometries and production programs that benefit from liquid injection molding.
Overmolding
Used when silicone must be integrated with a rigid component or insert.
