The clip is the mold on the WYD bench. Use it to see cavity density and how the tray sits under hand work. It is not your pectin cook, your chill curve, or proof that every logo will gloss the same on your line.

Why silicone helps the dump

Trade-offs before you chase gloss
Gloss on the mold is not the same as gloss on every cook. Acid, sugar film, and demold temperature still change the face. A deep logo or hairline limb can tear before the body releases - send the art before we lock steel or a production soft tray.
Do not size production quantity off a bench clip alone, and do not copy a Shore from a hard-candy cup onto a pectin dump.
Timing on a current quote
For applicable small-batch soft-mold programs, MOQ starts from 20 pcs per design. That is not a universal MOQ for every HTV, LSR, or industrial tool. Standard/simple 3D modeling can start from USD 50 per design when the file is not ready. Complex sculpting is quoted by scope. It is not a tooling deposit.
