Custom Silicone Gummy Mold Trays
WYD cuts multi-cavity custom silicone gummy mold trays. The short shows finished trays on the plant bench, ready to pack. Silicone fits when cavity weight, release, and tray span have to hold together.

We cut custom silicone gummy mold trays when the cavity count, piece weight, and tray envelope have to match how you deposit. The short below is finished multi-cavity trays on our plant bench - flex check, then pack. Quote path: custom silicone gummy molds.

Finished trays on the plant bench

The clip is the tool after press - white multi-cavity sheets on the green bench, presses in the background, packing for a Canada shipment on the overlay. Use it to see cavity grid density and how the tray flexes in hand. It is not your depositor, your pectin cook, or a cavity-weight trial.
What we cut for a gummy tray
- Your outline from STEP, artwork, or a sample gummy
- Cavity count and pitch locked to nozzle layout or hand fill
- Tray outer size that still fits the nest, rack, or cart you already run
- Shore and wall thickness for release plus loaded-tray stiffness - not a Shore copied from a hard-candy cup
Starch mogul vs silicone is a different decision. That sits on silicone or starch for edible gummies. Sharing one frame with hard candy is its own call.
Why silicone helps on gummy trays

| What you need | What silicone gives you |
|---|---|
| A brand shape or logo starch cannot hold cleanly | The cavity follows your file. Edges and shallow detail stay in the rubber, not in a starch print that drifts. |
| Release without soaking every cycle in oil | Shore and draft matched to the cook often cut sticky pulls. Oil spray is still a line choice when the formula needs it - see oil spray or a mold fix. |
| A tray you can lift full without the center folding | Walls and span get quoted with the cavity map, so the loaded tray stays usable on the table or conveyor. |
| Repeat trays with the same pitch | Once the nest and cavity volume are locked, later lots follow the same drawing - not a new starch board each week. |
Trade-offs before you pick silicone
A CAD cavity volume is a starting number. Final piece weight still needs your real formula and density on a sample tray. If the tray must hit a depositor pitch, send nozzle spacing before we freeze the grid - that note is on depositor-compatible gummy molds.
Do not size production quantity off a packing clip alone, and do not treat a Canada shipment overlay as your logistics quote.
Timing on a current quote

For applicable small-batch soft-mold programs, MOQ starts from 20 pcs per design. That is not a universal MOQ for every HTV, LSR, or industrial tool. Standard/simple 3D modeling can start from USD 50 per design when the file is not ready. Complex sculpting is quoted by scope. It is not a tooling deposit.

What to send for a quote
Send formula family (pectin, gelatin, other), target piece weight, deposit temperature, cavity count, tray envelope, and first order quantity. For automated fill, add nozzle pitch and how trays enter the line. Email the drawing or sample.
FAQ
What does the video show?
Finished multi-cavity silicone trays on the plant bench, being checked and packed. It is a factory look at the tool, not a depositing film.
Can you cut a gummy tray to our shape and pitch?
Yes. Send the outline, target weight, and the tray size or nozzle pitch you need to hit.
Why silicone instead of starch for gummies?
When you need a fixed branded cavity, cleaner edges, or repeat trays without a starch board each run. Starch still wins on some high-volume mogul lines - say which path you run.
Is this the same as a hard-candy mold?
Not unless the cook, Shore, and tray outline are the same job. Name pectin, gelatin, or sugar before we lock a grade.
How do we get a price?
On the gummy molds page after weight, cavity count, and tray size are named, or send the file to contact.
Ready to order custom silicone molds?
Send your drawing, sample or project requirements for DFM and quotation.
