Cavity count · production object
Multi-cavity silicone production molds, not a gummy-only essay
Multi-cavity here means a production object with more than one pocket or impression you will run again: a tray, an HCR family, or an LSR set. It is not a gummy output-math page. Name the process, the loaded mass, and how you demold. Max cavities that fit the CAD is not a quote input.
WYD (Room 201, Building N, Licheng Technology Industrial Park Phase III, Xinhe Avenue, Shajing, Baoan District, Shenzhen, since 2006): CAD about $50, prototype 3-7 business days after CAD lock, soft-tray MOQ 20 when a tray applies. Plant: /custom-silicone-mold-manufacturer/. Soft then steel: /soft-tooling-to-production-tooling/.
Count follows process, not packing
| Object | Suitable Application | Process hub |
|---|---|---|
| Multi-cavity tray or HCR family | Yes | /silicone-compression-molding/ |
| LSR multi-cavity set | Yes - name LSR | /lsr-injection-molding/ |
| Gummy grams map | No | /gummy-line-cavity-map-rfq/ |

Hypothetical: 48-up requested, peel not named
Hypothetical path - not a named customer file
RFQ says "48 cavities." No process, no loaded mass. We charge ~$50 CAD to lock count against peel and land, then prototype in 3-7 days after lock. A gummy grams column moves to the cavity-map URL.

Multi-cavity FAQ
- Is this the gummy cavity-map page?
- No. Gummy maps live on /gummy-line-cavity-map-rfq/. This slug is any multi-cavity silicone object - trays, HCR parts, or LSR families - when cavity count is the buying question.
- Do you pack the densest CAD grid?
- Not if peel, flash land, or loaded mass dies. Count is an output of the process, not a packing boast.
- Soft tray or steel first?
- Soft first while the cavity set is still moving. Steel after a signed sample. Soft-tooling path: /soft-tooling-to-production-tooling/.
- MOQ and CAD?
- Soft-tray MOQ 20 after approval when the object is a tray. CAD about $50 when the model still needs lock. Prototype 3-7 business days after CAD lock.
Name process, loaded mass, and how you demold
Cavity count is an output. Gummy grams maps use a different slug. Soft-tray MOQ stays 20 when a tray applies.
