Which Silicone Mold Fits the Pour
Chocolate, wax, soap, resin, and plaster do not share one silicone mold. The short asks which pour you run. Name it before we lock the cavity.

A chocolate bar, a wax pour, a soap loaf, a resin cast, and a plaster relief do not leave the same cavity. The short below is the WYD channel asking which product the mold has to serve. A flex piece in the frame is not those five tools, and on-screen lines are not a Shore or a document.

The short asks which pour

Use the clip as the question we ask on the first email. It is not a tour of five finished tools, and it is not a temperature or food-contact test. Name the pour, then we pick the page.
Five pours, five mold jobs
| What you pour or press | What the mold has to survive | Where the quote sits |
|---|---|---|
| Chocolate or confection | Temper, logo face, and a clean release. Food-contact paperwork is a separate ask. | Custom silicone chocolate molds |
| Candle wax | Shrink, a seam you can trim, and a wall that does not collapse on the next pour. | Candle molds |
| Soap | Filled weight, logo release, and a tray you can lift full. | Soap molds |
| Resin | Exotherm, undercut, and whether a support shell has to hold the skin. | Resin molds |
| Plaster or gypsum | Fine relief that a rigid cast cannot flex around. | Craft molds |
We would not recommend one cavity quoted for "crafts" when the first production pour is still unnamed. RTV quotes stay on RTV mold making.
What to name before a quote

Send the material, finished size, cavity count, and whether the piece is flat-back or full 3D. For applicable small-batch silicone mold programs, MOQ starts from 20 pcs per design. That sentence does not cover every HTV, LSR, or industrial tool. Send the file and the pour.
FAQ
Can one mold run chocolate and resin?
Only if you accept the compromise on Shore, draft, and documents. We quote the primary pour.
Does the rainbow piece in the clip set the hardness?
No. It is a frame in the short. Hardness follows the pour and the release path.
Is plaster the same quote as a food tray?
No. Plaster is a craft cavity. A food tray needs the cook, the tray envelope, and the market paperwork named.
What if I only have a photo?
A photo can start the talk. CAD still has to be approved before a prototype clock starts.
Where do I send the job?
Use the product page that matches the pour, or email the file through contact.
Ready to order custom silicone molds?
Send your drawing, sample or project requirements for DFM and quotation.
