Small wax pieces stick when the cavity is a hand and the silicone is stiff. This order is a custom RTV mold for wax melts. The shape is the American Sign Language ILY handshape: thumb, index, and little finger out, middle and ring folded, wrist left off.

The gate is the dimensioned 3D, not the concept. On the oval, the check file labels A 6.93, B 10.07, and C 13.05, and the piece envelope is 51.755 × 75.030 × 13 mm, hanging hole included. Layout and silicone start after that confirm. Three sheets follow: oval 205 × 185 × 18 mm, a second block 176 × 110 × 18 mm, and the plain hand 230 × 145 × 18 mm. Name, studio, email, Shore A, wax weight, and the price are not on this page.

Beige concept render of an ILY handshape with the wrist omitted
1. Concept. Smooth ILY hand, wrist already off. Not a wax pull.
Gray 3D model of the same ILY handshape
2. 3D solid. This is what goes back for a size and detail confirm. The next step waits.
3D check of an oval ILY hand with labels A 6.93, B 10.07, and C 13.05
3. Detail check on the oval. Labeled A 6.93, B 10.07, C 13.05. Hanging hole is part of the piece.
3D envelope of the oval ILY piece labeled 51.755 by 75.030 by 13 mm
4. Same oval, envelope labeled X 51.755, Z 75.030, Y 13. Confirm this before a sheet is nested.
Six oval ILY cavities with hanging holes on a 205 by 185 by 18 mm block
5. Oval sheet after the confirm. Six cavities, hanging holes. Labeled X 205, Z 185, Y 18.
Six ILY cavities seen from the back on a 176 by 110 by 18 mm block
6. Second sheet, seen from the cavity back. Labeled X 176, Z 110, Y 18.
CAD layout of six ILY hand cavities on a block labeled 230 by 145 by 18 mm
7. Plain-hand sheet. Six cavities. Labeled X 230, Z 145, Y 18. Not a scale of the oval.

8. Poured silicone for the plain-hand sheet. Still in pack film. Not a cycle-life claim, and not the oval sheet.

The 3D confirm is the gate

A concept is not a release to pour. The dimensioned 3D goes back so size and detail can be confirmed: on this oval, A 6.93, B 10.07, C 13.05, and the piece envelope 51.755 × 75.030 × 13 mm. The next step, nesting a sheet or pouring silicone, starts after that confirm.

Three sheets are already separate blocks, each six-up, each 18 mm on Y: 205 × 185 with hanging holes, 176 × 110 from the cavity back, and 230 × 145 for the plain hand. Scaling one of them into the others changes the finger gaps. The poured photo matches the plain-hand sheet. Soft silicone was the release request. These frames do not print a Shore A.

What these frames do not prove

Which sheet is the mini and which is the regular. The opening note asked for both. The files show three layouts. They do not print those two names on the blocks.

Wax grams per cavity and how many molds were ordered. Those are not labeled. The price is not published.

What to send for the next size

  1. Concept or STL with the wrist already omitted.
  2. Target melt weight, or the clamshell, for each size you still need.
  3. Wax type and pour temperature if you already pour it.
  4. How many molds to start, and whether both sizes ship together.

FAQ

Is the buyer named on this case?

No. Identity, email, and the quotation stay in the job file. The public note is the path: concept, 3D, six-up layout, poured sheet.

Do you pour silicone from the concept?

No. A dimensioned 3D goes back for a size and detail confirm. Layout and silicone are the next step after that confirm, not before it.

Are the three sheets one block scaled?

No. Oval 205 × 185 × 18 mm, a second sheet 176 × 110 × 18 mm, and the plain hand 230 × 145 × 18 mm are separate layouts.

Is this a food-contact mold?

No. The pour is wax melt. Do not attach food-contact paperwork unless the RFQ changes the pour.

Where do RTV wax-melt quotes go?

On wydsilicone.com. Send the handshape file and the target weight for each size. DFM review is separate from any later CAD lock.

Send the next hand size as its own file

Concept or STL, wrist already off, and the melt weight for that size. We will not scale this six-up sheet and call it both, and we will not put your name or the quote on the site.
