About WYD Silicone
WYD is a Shenzhen-based silicone manufacturer supporting custom silicone molds and finished silicone products from prototype through repeat production.
Since 2006, our work has expanded across custom mold development, HCR/HTV compression molding, LSR injection molding, silicone overmolding, extrusion, tooling, prototyping and OEM manufacturing.
Our customers include brands, product developers, manufacturers and purchasing teams in North America, Europe and other international markets.
What We Manufacture
WYD supports two broad project types.
WYD reviews both master-based RTV mold making and HCR/HTV production molding. The route depends on the geometry, intended use and repeat-order requirements.
Custom Silicone Molds
Including food and confectionery molds, baking and ice molds, RTV casting molds, custom cavity trays, resin/plaster/candle/soap mold projects, and complex 3D mold development.
Finished Silicone Products
Including industrial components, gaskets and seals, keypads, protective covers, kitchenware, electronics/wearables components, baby/consumer products, overmolded parts, and tubing and profiles.
Our Manufacturing Processes
HCR / HTV Compression Molding
Heated metal tooling for repeat molded-silicone production.
LSR Injection Molding
Two-component liquid silicone injection molding for suitable applications.
RTV Silicone Mold Making
Master-based flexible casting molds. Typical route: 3D/CAD → Resin Master Model → RTV Silicone Mold.
Silicone Overmolding
Silicone integrated with plastic or metal inserts.
Extrusion
Silicone tubing, cord and continuous profiles.
From Idea to Production
Many projects do not arrive with a finished production drawing. We can start from:

The typical development path is: Requirements → CAD/DFM → Prototype → Tooling → First Article → Production → QC → Repeat Orders. The exact steps depend on the process.

How to read the documents
Different documents answer different questions. A quality-management-system certificate describes the certified entity and scope during its validity period. A material test report applies to the named material or tested article and stated test method. Neither document proves that every product is suitable for every use.
For a food-contact mold, tell us the destination market, food or formulation, contact temperature and duration. We can then identify the document path for the material being quoted. Final suitability and regulatory acceptance must be confirmed for the customer's actual product and market.
