Loaded Baking Tray Curl: Fix the Pan Before You Add Cavities
A silicone baking tray that lies flat empty can curl once it is filled and in the oven. Add support or a smaller span before you buy a higher cavity count. This is not the baking mold product page.

The tray looked flat on the bench and curled in the oven. That is loaded span, not a reason to add cavities. A full batter load plus heat lifts the corners when the pan or rack does not support the middle. More cavities on a wider tray make the same curl worse. Fix the support and the outline first. What curl actually is
Empty flex is not the defect your baker sees. The defect is the filled tray, at the temperature and time you actually bake, sitting on the rack you actually own. Corners up means the center is carrying the load. Batter then runs, portions drift, and the demold tears the thin side.
Heat rating of the compound is a different question. A tray can be inside the grade's temperature note and still curl. Temperature limits stay on silicone mold temperature limits.
Support, span, or fewer cavities

What a harder Shore will not fix
A firmer compound can help a short span. It will not turn a wide unsupported sheet into a pan. We would not recommend stepping Shore up until the rack drawing is on the RFQ. If the baker needs more pieces, use a second tray of the same outline rather than one tray that no longer fits the rack.
Gummy deposit trays curl for a different reason (pitch and full-load sag on a depositor). Do not copy this bake note onto gummy molds.
Timing on a current quote
WYD quotes from Bao'an (since 2006). Soft-mold programs often start around 20 molds per approved design. That floor is not a universal MOQ for HTV, LSR, or an industrial tool. Simple 3D modeling can start around USD 50 when the file is not ready. It is not a tooling deposit. DFM on a complete file is quoted as review, not as a second product.

What to send
Send portion weight, bake temperature and time, a photo or drawing of the rack, the current tray outline, and whether curl happens empty or only when full. Mark how many portions you need per deck. We will say support, a smaller outline, or a second tray.

FAQ
Is curl a sign the silicone is too soft?
Only after the rack and the span are known. A soft tray on a full-support pan can bake flat. A firm tray on two rack wires can still curl.
Can we add cavities to the same outer size?
Yes if the filled tray still sits on that rack. No if the extra rows force a wider sheet the rack does not carry.
Will a hotter oven rating stop curl?
No. Heat resistance and stiffness under load are different specs.
Should we oil the tray so it releases after it curls?
No. Flatten the load path, then test release without spray.
Is this the quote for the baking mold?
No. The commercial tray page is the quote. This page is the curl decision before you add cavities.
