WYD Silicone is the Bao'an / Shajing plant you RFQ for custom soft trays, HCR compression parts, and LSR parts — CAD, prototype, tooling balance, then FOB Shenzhen. We have run that room since 2006. That is a different clock from a US warehouse that ships a catalog tray in three days.
Soft-tray MOQ is 20 pieces per design. DFM review is free. CAD modification is about $50 when the model still needs lock — not a fee on every PO. Prototypes typically take 3–5 business days after CAD approval for suitable projects. Standard production typically takes 7–10 business days after approval; large or complex projects are scheduled by project, then FOB Shenzhen. Courier to a US door is extra time after the goods exist. FOB Shenzhen clock vs a US warehouse clock
A US stock shop can pick a catalog SKU this week. We do not hold that wall. Do not compare our prototype day-count to their stock dispatch. US 3-day shop language is a comparison of clocks, not a brand we are chasing.

Ask to see the process that matches your job: mill and preform for HCR compression, the LSR bay with a heated cavity, or the tray bench where a cavity map is cut. Incoterm, documents, and who owns the tool
- Default ship start is FOB Shenzhen unless you name DDP or another term on the RFQ.
- Food-contact language is article/lot files (for example 21 CFR 177.2600) when the market needs them — not an FDA-approved factory line.
- Paying NRE is not automatic title to plates or inserts. Write ownership on the PI.
- A trader forwards a PDF. A factory marks draft, flash land, and depositor pitch on your file.

Honest path: CAD modeling or modification typically around US$50, CAD approval, prototype in the typical 3–5 business day window, sign-off, then standard production in the typical 7–10 business day window; large or complex projects are scheduled separately. - How should U.S. buyers plan the delivery schedule?
- Separate design approval, prototype preparation, production and international transport in the schedule. Send the destination and required arrival date so the quotation can identify the proposed shipping terms and timing assumptions.
